Mr. Walborn Attends ISA Kobudo Seminar

The ISA Kobudo Seminar in Fort Wayne, Indiana
CBA Reading Interventionist Mr. Walborn recently attended the ISA Kobudo Seminar in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The seminar was organized by O’Sensei Robert Bowles, who began his training in 1962, and the International Shuri-Ryu Association. The ISA is the “largest organization of Shuri-Ryu stylists in the world,” and was created after the death of Bowles’s beloved sensei.
Mr. Walborn has been studying the art of Okinawan Shuri-Ryu Karate since 1990 and holds the rank of 7th degree black belt. He attended this recent seminar to spend an afternoon of training with the traditional Okinawan artforms: Eiku, Nunchakun, and Kama.
