Isaiah Reed Accepted to Averett University

Congrats to Isaiah Reed on his acceptance to Averett University! As a talented writer, Isaiah is interested in pursing a literary career with a degree in screenwriting/creative writing.

Mr. Lofton, CBA Upper School English teacher, published author and poet, and Isaiah’s uncle notes: “Isaiah is a very talented writer. He really does know how to string effective sentences together, especially when developing a story. I have been watching him grow for the last couple of years. Averett University accepted him, but he is keeping his options open. He has expressed to me that he wants to write screenplays, and I think all he needs is the right program and guidance. Whatever he decides to do, I am sure he will make the best decision for himself.”
