Losing a Friend: Bob Stanton

CBA mourns the loss of our dear friend, Robert M. Stanton.

Bob became a member of the CBA family in 2012 when his grandson, Jack, joined the CBA student body. Shortly after Jack enrolled, Bob’s wife of 41 years, Eleanor, joined the CBA Board of Trustees. Bob and Eleanor’s dedication to causes connected to education goes back decades and has had a lasting impact on so many children and families across Hampton Roads. Bob’s legacy in business, in education and in philanthropy will be deep and enduring. CBA is fortunate to have been touched by his generosity in so many ways.
