Middle school students and faculty enjoyed their field trip to First Landing State Park to kayak, paddleboard, play games, battle with super-soakers, and splash in the bay. The weather was picture-perfect. Chesapean Outdoors supplied the watercraft, games, nets, life jackets, and an energetic crew who guided our students out on the water. The students especially enjoyed trying out the paddle boards this year.

This annual trip is always a great opportunity to gently observe the wildlife at the park. Students found some crabs and minnows, and a bossy seagull snagged a snack from one of our towels and flew away! Chris Hadley, Isaac’s mom, treated the whole group to popcorn and water blasters, which were enjoyed by all!
