National Youth Leadership Forum Summer STEM Fun!

Jordan McDonald, grade 8, and Addison Wilson, former CBA student whose family recently relocated to California, attended the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF) Explore STEM camp at North Carolina University over the summer. Each year our middle school teacher Mrs. Newton nominates students to attend the camp based on their interests. This year Jordan and Addison proudly represented CBA! The theme of this year’s program was “Explore the Red Planet”  Participants explored career opportunities, gained increased confidence and leadership skills, and envisioned their future on a “Mission to Mars,” all among like-minded and aspirational middle school students from around the country.

Very cool (or hot!) experience for our kiddos, and kudos to Mrs. Newton for making this opportunity possible!
