Pumpkin Observation Lab

Middle School student, Peyton Scott, measures her pumpkin

Middle school kicked off the fall season with a Pumpkin Spiced Science Lab!

Students used the scientific method and observation skills to compare and contrast their pumpkins. They used a triple beam balance to determine the mass of each pumpkin and made predictions as to whether the pumpkin would float in water based on it’s density.

Mrs. Reynolds’ classes will continue their exploration of the scientific method throughout the year and we can’t wait to learn about more of her season-themed projects!
