Monica Zakaria, Special Events Assistant

Monica has a B.A. in Expressive Arts Therapy from Warren Wilson College and is originally from Siler City, NC. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, embroidery, listening to music, and cooking. Her favorite dishes are tamales and pozole.

“I would like to help promote a sense of community while assuring that the school’s events shine and flourish. I want to make new friends, grow as a person, and learn more about the Virginia Beach area since I’m not originally from here.”
