Creative Arts Fest Recap
The CBA community enjoyed a beautiful day as we celebrated the third annual Melinda Vooss Creative Arts Festival showcasing our incredibly talented artists.
Ms. Kooiman’s upper school advanced choir filled the air with their harmonious voices, while the middle school drum ensemble energized the crowd with their amazing performance. Mr. Lofton’s original poetry, accompanied by drummer Gregory Lee, was captivating. Mia Rashkind shared her original poem, “The Art Teacher Legacy,” which she read beautifully, leaving a lasting impression on everyone.
Mrs. Viar’s makerspace projects were equally impressive, featuring “Makerfest” company products, eco-friendly dolphin art, inventive Lego designs, and a fantastic collaboration with lower school social studies featuring Native American homes.
Among the art projects, we highlighted extraordinary works created under the artful guidance of Ms. Beatty including ancestral quilts, Helping Hands Marbling, Refuge, tic-tac-toe boards, Truffula trees, and the Wishing Willow. Each piece reflects the creativity and dedication of our talented CBA students.
We are so proud of our community and the vibrant celebration of the arts!
