2023-2024  Tuition & Fees

Tuition alone does not cover the cost to educate a student at Chesapeake Bay Academy. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our school relies on private and corporate supporters to bridge the gap so that we can provide children with exceptional learning needs the education they require to reach their full potential.

Tuition

  • Lower School (1-5): $26,450
  • Middle School (6-8): $27,080
  • Upper School (9-12): $28,875

All payment plans require enrollment with FACTS. All payment plans except the one payment option require enrollment in the Tuition Reimbursement Plan. FACTS is CBA’s third- party fee collector through ACH (Direct Payment) System. Parents/Guardians are responsible for fees charged by FACTS. In addition to FACTS fees ($45 annual setup fee), CBA charges for monthly and bi-annual payment plans. A discount of 2% of tuition will be awarded if payment of entire balance is received before June 30, 2023. (No discount will be offered if receiving tuition assistance.)

The following fees are also applicable once a student is enrolled:

  • Enrollment fee: $500
  • Materials fee: $100
  • Technology fee: $100
  • Science Lab fee (grades 9-12): $100
  • Tuition Reimbursement Plan (excluding single payments): $100

Miscellaneous charges billed through FACTS each year include:

  • Consumables
  • Students participating in athletic programs are charged a fee to offset the cost of uniforms, coaches, referees, equipment, trophies, and transportation.
  • Field trip fees are determined individually for each field trip.
  • Students may be required to purchase textbooks/e-books.
  • Upper school students will be required to pay for annual PSAT and/or SAT testing fees.
  • The school will provide a supply list to all CBA families in the August communication and on the school website. Students in all grades are responsible for their own school supplies.
