What our parents are saying:
CadetNet has been an amazing experience. This hands-on modality of learning has been extremely engaging for our son. He benefits from having a live class where he can interact with teachers and other children, with the added flexibility of logging into class from anywhere. It’s clear the teachers are passionate about teaching, and they pass this enthusiasm on to their students. Since joining CadetNet, our son went from dreading school, to loving school. The CadetNet teachers are open to parent suggestions, they communicate frequently, and are very transparent. If you’re looking for a loving and supportive school community that embraces learning differences, CadetNet is it!

Curriculum

What our teachers are saying:
Throughout my time in education, I have witnessed the importance of manipulatives and hands-on activities to support student engagement within mathematics curriculum–especially when connecting material to real-life scenarios. What I love about the CadetNet program is that it provides diverse learners with a new approach to hands-on learning through virtual reality. Using virtual reality in math allows us to practice math concepts outside of the typical paper-pencil format used within in-person classroom settings. Today’s learners are technologically advanced and thrive off of gamified learning which makes virtual reality all that more interesting to students. One day, we are practicing unit rates in a virtual store, and another day, we are learning about area and perimeter by building houses. This technology allows students to be present in different scenarios and locations and think outside of the box with how they relate to math. One question that I have been asked a lot as a math teacher is, “when am I going to use this in real life”, and through CadetNet and using virtual reality, I can show students how.” – Mrs. Gardner, Math Teacher

Language Arts

Go beyond reading and writing in an immersive experience that brings learning to life. Students explore powerful themes in literature while building strong skills in critical thinking, communication, and creative expression. Aligned with Common Core standards, the curriculum combines classic and contemporary texts with cutting-edge tools, including virtual reality. Whether touring the streets of Shakespeare’s London, building hands-on models, or stepping into the world of a novel, students don’t just study stories—they live them. It’s a one-of-a-kind program designed to develop thoughtful, articulate learners ready to engage with the world around them.

Math

Designed to engage students in meaningful, real-world learning—aligned with Common Core State Standards. Core concepts like number sense, algebra, geometry, and statistics come to life through hands-on projects, gamified lessons, and cutting-edge virtual reality simulations. Whether students are analyzing data from a virtual expedition, or tackling algebra through interactive games, they’re developing problem-solving skills that truly stick. With a focus on collaboration, constructive feedback, and differentiated instruction for diverse learning styles, this is math reimagined—practical, personal, and powerfully effective.

Science

Designed to ignite curiosity and deepen understanding through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Building on the foundation from elementary school, students explore life, physical, and earth sciences in ways that prepare them for high school and beyond. With a strong emphasis on real-world problem-solving and STEM integration, students tackle challenges like designing eco-friendly solutions, modeling weather patterns, or investigating the physics of motion. Cutting-edge digital tools and VR simulations let them step inside ecosystems, experience extreme weather, or travel through space—all without leaving the classroom. Aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, this program makes science exciting, relevant, and unforgettable.

Social Studies

Turns history into an immersive, thought-provoking journey. Rooted in inquiry-based learning and aligned with Common Core standards, students ask big questions, analyze primary sources, and explore diverse perspectives across U.S. and world history, geography, civics, and economics. Through project-based learning and real-world connections, they build critical thinking and empathy while preparing for high school and beyond. Cutting-edge VR technology takes students even further—whether it’s meeting AI-generated historical figures, walking through the streets of ancient civilizations, or visiting pivotal moments in history. It’s a powerful, modern approach to understanding the past and shaping thoughtful global citizens.

Learning Lab!

This dynamic, hands-on class is designed to help students build essential life skills in a fun and supportive environment. Each session begins with a quick, engaging mini-lesson that introduces key topics like executive functioning, emotional regulation, and study strategies. Afterward, students dive into interactive activities that let them put their new skills into practice right away.

From getting organized and managing time to staying focused and handling big emotions, Learning Lab gives students practical tools they can use both in school and in everyday life. It’s all about building confidence, independence, and success one skill at a time!

AloeVR Socioemotional

A mindfulness and biofeedback technology that promotes student mental resilience through mindfulness-building virtual reality (VR) experiences that are culturally-inclusive, trauma-informed and non-addictive. Students explore using a VR headset featuring one-on-one mini-games and breathing simulations delivered by animal instructors in digital ambient outdoor 3D environments.
