VWU Intern Whitney Leao Accepted into EVMS Art Therapy Program

Congratulations to our current school counseling intern, Whitney Leao, on her acceptance into the EVMS Art Therapy program! Whitney learned first-hand the power of art therapy when she got to know Alex Heller, CBA’s current art therapy intern from EVMS.

“I’m excited to attend EVMS this fall. My goal is to introduce as many people as possible to the art-making process, as I believe in its transformative power. Art has always been my personal outlet. This emotional connection to my work has strengthened my belief in the importance of art as a tool for self-expression and healing. I’m looking forward to taking the next step in my journey to become an art therapist.” – Whitney
