Grandfriend’s Day Fun!

Grandfriend’s Day was a fun, feel-good day for our whole CBA community! The weather was beautiful and the excitement from our students was impossible to miss as they proudly showed their “grandfriends” around their school.

Lower schoolers kicked off the celebration with high-energy performances. Next, our guests headed off to classrooms and rotated through a range of exciting activities. There was something for everyone—from snapping pictures at the photobooth, to getting creative while decorating pots and making art, to playing bingo! As always, the Scholastic Book Fair was a big hit with students excitedly shopping and sharing their favorite books. The event wrapped up with lunch for the entire community.

A big thank you to our unexpected guests, the Virginia Beach Fire Department, as they assisted in navigating a minor elevator issue and adding an extra layer of excitement to the day!

This year’s Grandfriend’s Day was a great celebration filled with smiles and laughter. Many thanks to all who made the day so special!
