A New Chapter of Service.

As the founder and former president of Waypoint Advisory, a thriving wealth management firm, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a dedicated CBA board member for over 18 years, it is with great pride that we announce Elizabeth Patterson Bertrand’s transition to Trustee Emeritus. Beth joined the board of trustees in 2004 and served on the strategic planning and investment committees, playing an instrumental role in creating a solid financial strategy. Beth is a founding director of Monarch Bank, a trustee of the Old
Dominion University Educational Foundation and previously served on the Chesapeake School Board. In addition to her service and commitment to the CBA community, Beth has been an active volunteer and board member at numerous non-profit agencies and was selected as a “Woman of Distinction” in 2017 by the YWCA of Hampton Roads.
The CBA community is honored to have Beth as a champion who continues to support our mission.
