CadetNet Virtual Academy Summer Program
Summer, their way! Help your child improve skills and build confidence over the summer through virtual adventures in storytelling, science, math and history. Courses are delivered online and in a virtual reality (VR) environment. Through live teachers and synchronous instruction, your child will explore the world and different periods of time from the comfort of your own home!

Technology Requirements: Personal computer. VR headsets will be pre-programmed and can be purchased through CadetNet for $325. Headsets returned in good working order are eligible for a $300 refund.

Adventures in Storytelling: Explore Fiction Through Mixed Reality
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:30 – 10:30 am
Unleash your creativity this summer with a one-of-a-kind English class! Explore exciting genres, from fantasy to mystery, and write your own stories. With mixed reality, you’ll bring your scenes to life, stepping into your worlds and reimagining favorite books. Sharpen your writing and critical thinking skills in this immersive, fun-filled adventure.
Adventures in Science: Explore the Wonders of Our Planet in Virtual Reality
Mondays & Wednesdays: 9:30 – 10:30 am
Travel the world’s most fascinating ecosystems—rainforests, oceans, and more—without leaving your seat! In this VR-based class, you’ll explore the science of animal adaptations, conservation, and ecosystems. Dive into interactive field trips, experiments, and real-world biology to better understand and protect our planet’s natural wonders.
Adventures in Math: Real-World Adventures in Problem-Solving
Mondays & Wednesdays: 10:45 – 11:45 am
Make math exciting and relevant with real-world challenges! From running a pop-up restaurant to designing a tiny house, use math to solve problems and build critical thinking skills. With VR projects, you’ll see how math impacts daily life, while gaining the tools to manage budgets, designs, and strategies.
Adventures in History: Meet the Legends Who Shaped Our World
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:45 – 11:45 am
Step into history like never before with virtual reality! Meet legendary figures like Van Gogh, Shakespeare, and Amelia Earhart, exploring their lives and achievements. Understand how their contributions shape today’s world through immersive experiences and hands-on research, connecting past events to the present.
A $100 non-refundable deposit invoice will be sent via email from our business office upon receipt of online registration. Payment in full is due by Monday, June 16th. No portion of camp is refundable. All summer programs will be closed on Friday, July 4th.
