Year #8! CBA selected as “School of Excellence” by NASET

Chesapeake Bay Academy is proud to have been named a 2025 School of Excellence by the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET). This distinction is only bestowed upon select qualified licensed private special education schools and this is the seventh year in a row CBA has received the award.

As the highest level of recognition a private special education school can achieve, this honor is presented to schools that meet rigorous professional criteria and have demonstrated truly exceptional achievement in the field.

The National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) is a national membership organization that offers support and assistance to those preparing for or teaching in the field of special education.  NASET was founded to promote the profession of special education teachers and to provide a national forum for their ideas.
