Teachers with Talent: Foss Takes First Place!
CBA salutes upper school science teacher Mr. Kevin Foss for winning The Great Chrysler Museum Bake Off! This competition features bakers who create edible confections inspired by artwork from the museum’s collection.
Mr. Foss’s entry was a reproduction of Susan Watkins’ “View of the Seine and Notre-Dame from Quai de la Tournelle, Paris.” He recreated the piece by painting the scene directly onto cake using frosting tinted with food coloring. His creativity and skill earned him both First Place and the People’s Choice Award—marking the second time he has won both honors. In 2019, Mr. Foss placed third in this annual competition.
Congratulations to Mr. Foss on this impressive and artistic achievement!
