  • Head of School Transition Update: Visit Recap

Dr. Miller, Mr. Davda & Dr. Jankowski at VWU

We are pleased to share that CBA’s incoming Head of School, Mr. Krishna Rasik Davda, enjoyed a productive visit this past week familiarizing himself with the area, planning his cross-country move, and meeting with Dr. Jankowski, the CBA Board of Trustees, Transition Committee, and school leadership team.

“This visit offered a meaningful first look into the daily life of Chesapeake Bay Academy and the broader Hampton Roads community. My tour of campus, brief observations of classes, and conversations with faculty, trustees, school leaders, and community partners (like VWU)—along with the powerful ‘mission moment’ shared by 2014 alumnus Jack—reinforced everything I’ve come to admire about CBA: its mission-driven focus, deep expertise, and genuine commitment to each learner. I am grateful to Dr. Jankowski, the Board of Trustees, the Transition Committee, and all those who generously shared their time, insights, and hospitality. This was an important early step in preparing for my transition and planning relocation along with my father. I look forward to future visits and continuing this collaborative work in the months ahead.”
