Ms. Beatty Presents at National Art Education Conference
CBA Art Teacher Jazmine Beatty recently presented at the 2026 National Art Education Conference, joining art educators from across the country to share ideas and explore the role of creativity in education.
As part of the conference, Ms. Beatty facilitated a workshop exploring how creative, collaborative practices can help students build stronger connections with one another while fostering broader networks and community.
During the conference, Ms. Beatty presented on work both within and beyond CBA. One presentation highlighted an art exhibition she co-curated as well as a published book chapter in An Anthology of Blackness: The State of Black Design. She also shared information about the community-engaged, collaborative projects she leads with our students.
The conference was a meaningful opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with fellow artists and educators. CBA is proud to see the innovative work Ms. Beatty is leading represented on a national stage!
