The Social Butterflies Club was founded in 2004 by Rhonda Osisek M.S., CCC-SLP. Rhonda is a certified speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience and the CEO of Social Learning, LLC. She is the founder of The Social Butterflies Club® Social Skills Program, The Monarch Club Social Skills Program and Love & Relationships on the Spectrum Social Skills Program. Rhonda trains professionals across the country in The Social Butterflies Club® program and provides consultation for school systems and organizations implementing social language programs. Rhonda and her team of highly trained professionals provide on-campus Social Skill Lunch Bunch Groups at CBA.
Groups meet 2x per week for 30 minutes during lunch. Lunchtime is a great time to work on social communication skills as it is a natural setting for children. Many children struggle during these unstructured social times. We work with all the children to develop necessary social communication skills. Each child will have specific goals based on their initial screening and each semester parents will be provided with individualized reporting to address progress toward student goals.
How It works:
- Once registered, you will be billed for the sessions a month in advance via email.
- Tuition is due by the first day of the month.
- Payments are accepted online or can be collected at school with checks payable to Social Learning, LLC
- Our Speech-Language Pathologist and/or Educational Specialist will complete an informal screening at your child’s first session to develop a plan of care and goals for your child.
- Monthly summaries are sent home to all parents. K-8th grade students will receive progress notes each semester with their individual progress.
- FEE: $50.00 per week (2 Lunch social skills group sessions per week) for students. Parents will be billed monthly for services. * Sliding scales are available for those who qualify. Please contact us for the application.

The need for direct social pragmatic instruction stems from a number of causes:
Living in the age of technology, many children are no longer developing social skills naturally. For some, computers, cell phones and video games are impediments to healthy development. The result is delayed social development that can lead to life-long consequences from academic, interpersonal and vocational perspectives.
Did you know: Social development is the basis upon which all language is built.  Children develop academic skills, expressive language skills, as well as gross and fine motor skills through play in the early years of life.
The population we serve frequently has delayed development of social skills resulting from a wide range of causes. Speech-language delays, motor delays, cognitive delays, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or social isolation can all result in difficulty acquiring social acuity.
The program: The Social Butterflies Club (SBC) teaches children social skills in a fun, structured environment. The unique organization of our program works to teach social understanding in a real-life context, instead of in isolation. Kids are allowed to practice what they learn with others, while having fun at the same time!
