Spring Interns Making a Difference
CBA’s partnerships with higher education continue to bring talented young professionals to learn and grow. This semester, we are excited to welcome three outstanding interns to the CBA community, each bringing unique passions, skills, and perspectives to our students and staff.
Brianna Foster joins us as a Social Work Intern while completing her senior year at Virginia Wesleyan University (VWU). With aspirations of becoming a licensed clinical social worker serving as a school social worker, Brianna is eager to work with students of all ages and support diverse learning styles and abilities. She is excited to grow professionally at CBA while contributing to a supportive, student-centered environment.
Also joining us from VWU is Kyla Robberecht, also a Social Work Intern with a strong interest in working with teens and individuals with autism. Drawn to CBA’s close-knit community and compassionate, individualized approach, Kyla looks forward to building meaningful connections with students while supporting their strengths and unique needs.
Last but certainly not least, we are delighted to welcome Lia MacAskill, our Art Therapy Intern from ODU/EVMS. Lia is currently pursuing her master’s degree in counseling and art therapy. After transitioning from a pre-med background, she discovered the powerful healing role of creativity and is excited to bring art therapy into the lives of CBA students, helping them express themselves in meaningful and productive ways.
Please join us in welcoming Brianna, Kyla, and Lia to CBA. We are grateful to have their contributions in support of our CBA community this year!
