Success! 11th Annual Community Professionals Breakfast

11th Annual Community Professionals Breakfast
This annual event provides our professional community with the opportunity to collaborate and network with other area professionals who serve students with profiles similar to those at CBA.
While the group enjoyed a lovely breakfast, we engaged in a deeper conversation about the use of technology to support neurodiverse learners. As artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) provide new and expansive horizons for learning, the group discussed some of the socioemotional opportunities that these technologies make possible for those without access to more traditional outlets. It was fascinating to learn about some of the new approaches and hear from a variety of perspectives.
“As someone with a deep passion for educating both the neurodivergent community and the “neurotypical” population around us, I thoroughly enjoyed the discussions. I’m also super excited about the direction CBA is taking with research and technology! I am particularly interested to see how your CadetNet Virtual Academy unfolds and serves those with uniquely wired brains. Thank you for bringing the community together each year; I always look forward to this event and hearing about CBA’s newest projects and initiatives!” – Terrie Livingston, Inside Out Learners
