Help your child improve skills and build confidence. All students, public and private, are welcome to attend CBA’s Summer Enrichment Program. Academic mornings offer small group and individualized instruction while afternoons feature recreational activities including culinary and science experiments, arts and crafts, and makerspace projects to support a well-rounded camp experience!

Intensive Reading Program

Grades: 1-6

6 Week Session: June 22 – July 31
Full Day ($2700): 8:00 am  – 3:00 pm
Half Day ($1350): 8:00 am  – 11:30 am

Decoding and Comprehension Focus. This intensive course is designed for students struggling with decoding and/or comprehension. Intensive reading programs include a blend of whole group, small group, and individual instruction. Using manipulatives, memory strategies and language-based instruction to reinforce concepts, students have fun as they learn. Faculty will use a combination of Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, and NILD-based reading strategies to address individual learning needs. Afternoons feature recreational activities and a variety of arts and crafts to support a well-rounded camp experience! Groupings based on ability level.

Progress reports will be provided after week 3. At the end of the program, parents have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with faculty to go over test results, progress made, and recommendations for next school year.

Reinforce critical skills and avoid the summer slide. Students receive instruction in reading, math and writing skills in a multi-sensory, interactive way. Screenings identify individual strengths and areas of need in order to personalize the curriculum. Using manipulatives, memory strategies and technology-based instruction, students have fun as they learn. Afternoons feature recreational activities, arts and crafts, and more!

Progress reports will be provided after weeks 3 and 6.


CadetNet Virtual Academy Summer Program 

Summer, their way! Help your child improve skills and build confidence over the summer through virtual adventures in storytelling, science, math and history. Courses are delivered online and in a virtual reality (VR) environment. Through live teachers and synchronous instruction, your child will explore the world and different periods of time from the comfort of your own home!

Technology Requirements: Personal computer. VR headsets will be pre-programmed and can be rented through CadetNet for $325. Headsets returned in good working order are eligible for a $300 refund.

Adventures in Science: From Ideas to Inventions: VR Engineering Lab
Mondays & Wednesdays: 9:30 – 10:30 am
Get ready to imagine, build, and experiment! In this hands-on summer school enrichment class, students will dive into engineering-based science lessons using exciting VR technology. From exploring the scientific method to designing simple machines, renewable energy solutions, and even wild Rube Goldberg–style creations, students will learn how engineers think, test, and improve their ideas. Along the way, we’ll explore different types of engineering while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving—all while having a lot of fun!

Adventures in Math: Smart Spenders – A Virtual Journey
Mondays & Wednesdays: 10:45 – 11:45 am
Money matters… and math makes it fun—now in virtual reality! In this hands-on summer enrichment class, students will dive into financial literacy using exciting VR experiences. They’ll create budgets, explore “better buy” scenarios, tackle taxes, calculate wages and unit rates, and solve for unknowns—all while navigating immersive, interactive challenges. Get ready to crunch numbers, make smart financial decisions, and explore math like never before!

Adventures in Language Arts: Myths in Motion: A Virtual Reality Adventure
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:30 – 10:30 am
Step into legend this summer! In this immersive enrichment class, students use cutting-edge VR technology to bring ancient stories to life. From Greek and Norse mythology to the mysteries of ancient Egypt, learners will journey to the lands where these myths were born and experience them firsthand. As they explore these timeless tales, students will uncover shared themes and patterns, connecting ancient myths to modern literature. By examining the morals and cultural values of these societies, they’ll strengthen critical thinking and literary analysis skills—all while expanding their imagination. Get ready to meet heroic characters, explore magical worlds, and experience mythology like never before!

Adventures in Social Studies: Time Travelers – History in Action
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:45 – 11:45 am
Buckle up—history awaits! In this exciting social studies enrichment class, students become time travelers, jumping into pivotal moments from world history. From standing atop the Great Wall of China and exploring life among the Vikings, to witnessing the American Revolution, learners will experience history up close—and beyond the textbook. Through role-play, simulations, and creative challenges, students will step into the shoes of people from different eras, making decisions, solving problems, and discovering how the past shapes the world we live in today. This interactive journey builds historical understanding, empathy, and critical thinking—while making history unforgettable. Ready to travel through time? Adventure awaits in every era!


A $250 non-refundable deposit invoice will be sent via email from our business office upon receipt of online registration. Payment in full is due by Monday, June 15th. No portion of camp is refundable. All summer programs will be closed on Friday, July 3rd.
