  • Ms. Beatty presents at VAEA Conference

CBA’s art teacher Ms. Jazmine Beatty recently presented at the Virginia Art Education Association (VAEA) Conference. This annual event rotates across different cities throughout Virginia, and while Ms. Beatty has presented several times in the past, this year was particularly special as it took place in Nofolk, providing her the perfect opportunity to highlight our school and the community-engaged art happening here at CBA! Ms. Beatty presented two separate sessions during the conference and showcased several student projects in the VAEA Student Art Show.

Students featured included Joel Oliver, Tatiana Tinsley, Ashley Hartson, Caden White, Payton Ponder, Else Rumford, Eryam Kemavor,  Vhenus Guzman, Kate Ryan, Blake Reeves, Yeardley Davenport, and Jayden Powell.

Inspiring work, by all of our student artist and congrats to Ms. Beatty on another successful set of presentations!
