Welcome Middle School Para-Educator, Demia Lindsey-Mitchell
We are excited to welcome Demia Lindsey-Mitchell, CBA’s newest paraeducator, to the community! With a strong background in both education and the arts, she brings a unique blend of creativity, experience, and heart to our classrooms. She holds a Master’s degree in Education, a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, and an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, reflecting her passion for both teaching and creative expression.
Prior to joining CBA, Ms. Lindsey-Mitchell worked as an art teacher, job coach, substitute teacher, and mentor. In her role as a job coach, she supported students with autism by helping them build confidence, develop interview skills, and gain meaningful employment opportunities. Her experience in these roles highlights her commitment to meeting students where they are and helping them grow both academically and personally.
Outside of school, Demia is a wife, mother, and aunt, and shares her home with her Australian Shepherd, Phoenix. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, teaching, and writing inspirational children’s books.
When asked about her goals at CBA, her motivation is simple, but profound, “I enjoy inspiring young minds.”
We are delighted to have Ms. Lindsey-Mitchell join our middle school team to support our students and look forward to the positive impact she will make in our classrooms.
