Welcome Dr. Mindy Gumpert! CBA Board of Trustees

Dr. Mindy Gumpert has been an educator for over 24 years, currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University (ODU) and Virginia Wesleyan University (VWU). She has also developed and taught courses at Norfolk State University (NSU).

Mindy has supported CBA in many ways over the years. She has facilitated Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) between CBA and several local universities, allowing university students to complete their clinical hours at CBA. Mindy is a founding member of the Center for Educational Research and Technological Innovation (CERTI) and has served as an invited member on the Education and Research Committee. Dr. Gumpert actually completed the research study for her dissertation at CBA in 2017.

Mindy and her husband Bart, a local pulmonologist and military veteran, are regular attendees at CBA’s Annual Auction and Gala. CBA is incredibly grateful for Dr. Gumpert’s growing commitment to our community!
