Creativity Served: Home Ec. & Art Collaborate
Home Ec. and Art collaborated on a special shared class meal experience.Ms. Rocks and her 10th grade Home Ec. students prepared an incredible spread of homemade dishes, while Ms. Beatty’s middle school art students recently completed a ceramic plate project that became part of the celebration, as the meal was served on the handmade ceramic plates created in Art class.
It was a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers to slow down, connect, and enjoy each other’s work in a relaxed and celebratory setting. Many of the ceramic dishes were thoughtfully created as part of a Home Ec. “Teacher Appreciation” collection and will be gifted to faculty members or displayed here at CBA as a lasting reminder of the collaboration.
