Welcome Krishna Rasik Davda, New CBA Head of School
The CBA community is pleased to officially welcome Krishna Rasik Davda, M.Sc., as our new Head of School. We are excited to have him join our leadership team and look forward to the vision, expertise, and dedication he will bring as he leads our school into its next evolution.
“I am honored to join the CBA community as Head of School. I look forward to working alongside our dedicated faculty, staff, students, and families to foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and inclusion. Together, we will build on CBA’s strong foundation while preparing our students to thrive in an ever-changing world.” – Krishna R. Davda
With over two decades of leadership in schools serving students with Learning Differences (LD), Krishna has served as Head of Student Experience at The Overlake School (WA), Head of Middle School at Perkiomen School (PA), and Program Director at Franklin Academy (CT). He holds an M.Sc. in Public Policy & Management from the University of London and a B.A. in Medical Ethics from New York University.
Over the past year, Krishna has worked closely with the Board of Trustees, Dr. Judy Jankowski, and the school’s leadership team to ensure a seamless transition. By connecting with students, parents, and community partners, he has taken the time to listen and learn while building relationships in order to gain a deep understanding of the CBA community.
“We are proud to welcome Krishna Rasik Davda as our Head of School. Together, we embrace a shared vision for the future—one rooted in innovation, inclusion, academic excellence, and an unwavering commitment to every student. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we are confident that Krishna’s leadership will build upon our strong foundation while creating new opportunities for our community to learn, grow, and thrive together.” – Vickie V. Black, Board Chair
Prior to joining the CBA community, Krishna was the Head of Student Experience at The Overlake School (WA) since 2020. In this role, Krishna provided leadership across Student Support programs, Experiential Education, Advising, Scheduling, Athletics, Academic Teams, Hiring, and Accreditation. He also contributed to the Wellbeing pillar of Overlake’s most recent Strategic Plan by introducing a team of educators to RULER, the evidence-based approach to social-emotional learning developed by Yale’s Child Study Center.
Krishna’s previous leadership experience includes Head of Middle School at Perkiomen School (PA) for two years and fourteen years at Franklin Academy (CT), a boarding and day school serving students with LD in grades 8–12 and postgraduate. Rising from classroom teacher to Program Director, Krishna helped guide Franklin through critical growth years, establishing its reputation as a recognized model for neurodiverse learners.
Krishna is a recognized thought leader in international education and a co-author of the upcoming U.S. State Department publication, Getting Down to Business: A Playbook for Expanding and Enhancing Sustainable Student Support Services in International Schools, which provides frameworks for the sustainable design of student support services worldwide. He has presented nationally and internationally on executive function, differentiated instruction, inclusion, student well-being, and skills-based teaching.
As Krishna and the Board of Trustees begin this exciting new era of leadership, we thank you for your trust and confidence throughout this transition. The Transition Committee, the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Davda remain committed to working collaboratively and thoughtfully to ensure a seamless and successful leadership transition for the entire CBA community.
