A Message from Mr. Setnar: My Next Chapter

Jared Setnar, Upper School Head

Dear CBA Community,

After 23 years at Chesapeake Bay Academy, I have decided that this school year will be my last.

This was not an easy decision. For more than two decades, CBA has been at the center of my life, and I’m deeply grateful to the students, families, and colleagues who have shared this journey with me. You have taught me, challenged me, and inspired me. I will carry the relationships we’ve built and the moments we’ve shared with me most.

I leave with great confidence in CBA’s future. Krishna Rasik Davda, M.Sc., brings vision and integrity to his role, and I know that under his leadership, CBA will begin its next chapter with strength and purpose.

Thank you for 23 wonderful years. I hope our paths cross often.

With gratitude,
Jared Setnar
Upper School Division Head
