Mrs. Stanton joined the board of trustees in 2013 and currently serves on the executive and advancement committees and is also on the campaign steering committee and cabinet member for the Transformation Capital Campaign. Mrs. Stanton is very active in the Hampton Roads community and supports the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, the United Way, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and Norfolk Collegiate School. In 1991, the Mrs. Stanton and her husband, Bob Stanton, co-established the Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation which provides support to various institutions that share the mission to help kids go to college, specifically the ACCESS College Foundation.
