Calendar Update: Upper School Dates Now Aligned School-Wide

Several updates have been made to this year’s school calendar to better align the Upper School schedule with the rest of the school. As shared in Mr. Setnar’s email to Upper School Families last week, aligning these dates across divisions simplifies planning for families—particularly those with students in more than one division—and allows our faculty to gather as a full school community.

Here’s what’s changed:

Upper School Conferences are now also scheduled for Friday, October 9th; Tuesday, February 16th; and Friday, May 21st. There will be no classes on these days, and extended care will be closed.

Moving Up Day for Rising 9th Graders will take place on Thursday, March 11th.

Senior Portraits will be taken on Picture Day, Wednesday, November 4th. Seniors should plan to attend.

Full-School Teacher Work Days will be Monday, January 25th and Monday, May 10th. There will be no classes on these days, and extended care will be closed.

Thank you for saving these dates on your family’s calendar. Click here to view and download the updated calendar, and as always, please reach out with any questions to Elizabeth Waranch, Chief Communications Officer, at ewaranch@cba-va.org.
