Dr. Brittain is an alumni parent whose son, Aaron, graduated from CBA in 2004. Dr. Brittain joined the board of trustees in 2004 and recently served as secretary on the executive committee and is chair of the strategic planning and DEC committees. He also serves on the education committee and the committee on trustees. Dr. Brittain has more than 35 years of experience as a consultant in the public and private sectors. In 1983 he founded Brittain Klein, Inc. to provide personalized high level performance consulting services to CEOs and boards nation-wide. Dr. Brittain began his professional career as a college professor holding appointments as Department Chair, Associate Academic Dean and Graduate Program Director at several colleges and universities in the Northeast. He is a licensed psychologist in the state of New York and is currently active with the Boy Scouts of America, past president of the Oscar Smith High School PTSA, served on the Chesapeake School Superintendent’s Advisory Board, and is a board member of Horizons Hampton Roads.
