Canvas & Digital Learning

Chesapeake Bay Academy is proud to offer Canvas to all divisions.
Canvas is an online learning management system that connects students and parents with their teachers, as well as connecting educators across the globe. In addition to using computer technology in the core curriculum, teachers integrate curriculum flipping, a teaching methodology which allows students to access the course information at home through teacher prepared videos and on-line presentations. This allows class time to be focused on projects, when the teacher is available to reinforce the material and assist with comprehension.

Digital Learning Days
On days where the school is closed for inclement weather students are expected to log into Canvas, our electronic learning management system, and complete assignments at home. Students will be held responsible work assigned over these days.
